I'm thinking more like the old Bordenaro's Market. Do you think that building has any future value? How about Dave's Welding Shop on Clark Street, or the old A & W?
How about if we demo the old Bordenaro's and move the A&W into its place? Not the restaurant area but only the overhang. That way the over funded Jefferson Police Farce could eat Bunkers donuts in any inclement weather and still keep a close watch on the comings and goings at Larry's "restaurant". This is a great idea. Please do not send any donations yet, as this is still in the planning stages.
I get the impression that certain Jefferson residents don't even realize that Dave's Welding Shop has already been torn down. You guys need to occasionally take a look at the town north of State Street. Would it kill you to visit that area - even just passing by?
Rick- This is my second post. In my last one I had to set someone straight, also. If you live in Jefferson and have money, you do not go up by Dave's Welding. You do not go up to Fareway. You do not go north of the banks in town. You buy your groceries in Des Moines any day of the week. You buy your clothing in Chicago or Kansas City. You people just don't know what it's like to have money.
Listen, the only reason I ever post on this rag is because of you, bitch. Sure, I buy my groceries in Des Moines, too, but I would never buy one piece of clothing unless it was straight out of Minneapolis. Maybe Chicago. Never Kansas City. I'm actually surprised that your shirttail cousin isn't in on this crap, too.

How about my neighbor's house? I'll even pay for the demolition.
I say we should tear down the 2 story outhouse at Squirrel Hollow that Boyer is always talking about. Would you help your buddy move, Verin?

Just leave me out of this for now, you two. I'll be as rich as you any day, just wait. I am.
