high school web site

Are there any people in the Jefferson school district willing to donate 1-2 hours per month of their time toward the upgrade of the high school web site? If there are, I would be happy to work with them free of charge.

Rick: Your kind offer cannot be accepted due to card-carrying members of the teacher's union being prohibited from donating their time to the district.

Hence, the deafening silence.

PS Hope I spelled deafening correctly.

Jefferson residents who should have a vested interest in their own local web sites should take a moment or two to visit other area high school web sites.

These sites are not created solely for their community; rather, they are intended for people who are removed from the local media but continue to have an interest in the community.

Jefferson has apparently made the decision that past residents and alumni are not important.

For JSPC sports updates, you can access the IHSAA web site for scores and schedules.

Everyone that grew up in Jefferson knows that once you leave town you are a worthless piece of crap. If you aren't around to further the current residents' ambitions and stroke their egos you are definitely not important. No one gives a rat's ass about the website because everyone who lives there already knows what's going on and if you don't live there you're a piece. Period.
