In response to the latest Bass rant. The Fulton county courthouse here in Atlanta is among the busiest in the U.S., but no one does anything there, either. Read between the lines.
Great to see the great things that happen when you fill the House and Senate. The House is working a bill to eliminate Iowans from deducting Federal taxes paid from their income when figuring state taxes. The Dems tossed out the crowd in the lobby at the state house. Maybe more people will vote sensibly next time around, instead of all the liberals they voted in. Everyday is Christmas for the Democrats.
I just read your interview with Sheriff Skeeter Watson. What is unclear to me is if the alien abductions are space aliens or Mexican kidnappings. If it's a Mexican thing, they are obviously tapering off because they are returning to work as winter turns to spring and more jobs are available. As for the spike in August, maybe they have some kind of festival then.

Rick: A quick FYI. I wore my JeffersonIowaNews t-shirt while flying from Dubuque to Mpls last Saturday. No other passengers commented on the shirt.
But, at the Mpls airport, I was subjected to a body cavity search by a TSA guy that looked a lot like Rick Morain. Go figure.
